How to Perform a Hard Reset

The safest and most effective way to clear a glitched error code is to power-cycle the appliance:

1. Locate the appliance’s power plug and unplug it from the wall outlet. If it is hardwired, flip the corresponding breaker in your home’s electrical panel to the OFF position.
2. Leave the power disconnected for exactly 5 to 10 minutes to allow the control board’s internal capacitors to discharge fully.
